So I lied. About trying to blog. About updating with BKK photos. BECAUSE I’M NOT EVEN TRYING. Because I up to my eyelids with 3000 word essays due in the next 10 days and I am GGXX already. But I think I should still leave some trace of activity here.. before I get swallowed up entirely.

So while watching the Ch 5 telecast, I was hyperventilating and blubbering with excitement and heart-attackness so much that I kept texting Debbie every 10293102 seconds. And because I could not fully express my HEART BEATING OUT OF ITS CHEST + my blubbering over with madness & tears at the end of the episode, this is what the sms convo turned out like in the last 5 minutes of the show.

One would think that I would have more time to blog when school’s OUT.

This is just me checking in to say that I HAVE LOST MY VOICE. Yes, I am sick (er) than before :( And I get no sympathy from my parents because I DESERVE IT FOR STAYING OUT LATE AND NOT RESTING AT HOME. Which is by all means true, and so I shall be left to suffer this terrible fate of not being able to TALK LOUDLY (IknowrightTRAGIC) or maybe even talk audibly for awhile. Gah.

Good news though, frozen grapes at home!! I will expound this frozen grape madness in another post about the latest BTree sleepover with the girls. Btw, SATC 2 was fab. Way better than the first one – and SJP removed that distracting mole on her chin hoorah. The only thing is that they are SO OLD its kinda scary to watch.. massive age gap right there. Its quite strange how everyone tries to relate themselves to the characters at that stage of their life. THEY ARE LIKE IN THEIR LATE 40S. I AM IN MY EARLY 20S. I don’t want to grow up so fast (so I said 5 years ago).

2. NEW MUSIC VIDEO OF DAVID CHOI’S SONG, PRODUCED BY WONG FU PRODUCTIONS

I watched this on the bus and HAD NO ONE TO GUSH TO (so I retweeted it). The last few scenes WERE MIND BLOWING. Wongfu has surpassed my expectations yet again! And I thought the AJ Rafael MV was good. This one nearly ripped my bleeding heart out. I am probably exaggerating. /edit THEN AGAIN MAYBE NOT (I just watched it again).

3. GLEE SPOILER ALERT: I DREAMED A DREAM BY IDINA MENZEL & LEA MICHELLE.

NPH IS AS EPIC AS EVER BUT THE REAL HIGHLIGHT OF THIS EPISODE HAD TO BE THIS MOMENT. Hands down. My favourite musical? And my favourite song from my favourite musical, too? Really? REALLY?? Listening to this song Always gives me chills. But having it ON GLEE and sung by Two Amazing Powerhouses (who look freakishly alike. Nice casting there) with such crazy vocals that pierce through your soul is another level of Having Chills altogether.

The Tube & Asians

HOKAY! Just did some housekeeping on my blog. Updated the sidebar a little, and put my links back on. Did some clearing up and adding on of the links as well. I deleted those blogs which have been stagnant for a long while, hope you guys don’t mind. Also, if you want me to link you or UN-link you, please let me know! Your wish is my command.

The other thing I did was add in a new blogroll section called TUBE. Essentially its the links to my FAVOURITE Youtube channels (post in the making soon!). I thought I’d share them with you! My top three are definitely 1. Community Channel, Wong Fu Productions and Kevjumba. What can I say? Asian pride rears its slanty-eyed head again. Actually, 10/12 of the channel links are by Asians or mixed-asians! We are taking over the world FO SHO.

EM: Home Edition

So I kinda spent part of yesterday watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition episodes.. of which every one I bawled my eyes out resulting in my puffy eyes later on in the night. BUT ITS LIKE THE BEST SHOW EVER PLZ.

One of the great episodes I watched was on this family featured below:

There are 15 of them in total, these parents have 13 children – 9 of them are adopted and 4 of their own (note: their children are hot like their dad HAHA K SIDEPOINT). SO ANYWAY the whole episode was about ADOPTION and how its important that every kid is in a safe home and the value of every kid (they adopted 2 with special needs).

ESSENTIALLY THESE PEOPLE ARE WALKING TALKING SAINTS. One of those people that you really cannot believe exist in the real (evil) world.

And all 15 of them stay IN THAT TRAILER (behind them in the photo) cos a hurricane came and hit their house. So THE BEST SHOW EVER that is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition swooped in and built them this baby in 7 days:

FRICKIN GIANT MANSION WITH AN ELEVATOR TO BOOT. YES, AN ELEVATOR. (it was to provide for the special needs children so cute right)

Oh yeah, and they had Jessica Alba brought in to help with the construction process. She donated SOLAR PANELS and probably starstruck every single volunteer there.

Not just that, they sent them to WALT DISNEY WORLD while they were building their house, and THREW THEM A SECOND WEDDING so that the parents could renew their vows (cos apparently they got married real young and nv had a proper wedding) – CAN U IMAGINE WHAT THIS REDUCED ME TO.

A PILE OF BLUBBERING TEARS.

This was where I discovered that there is actually a company called DISNEY’S FAIRY TALE WEDDINGS AND HONEYMOONS. And OH YES, it is exactly what it sounds like. ITS A COMPANY THAT PLANS YOUR DREAM DISNEY WEDDING. White horses and a pumpkin-shaped carriage? Check. Cinderella + Prince Charming figurines on the wedding cake? Check. I think they’d bust out singing and dancing cutlery if you really wanted to.

Conclusion?

x I’m so inspired to adopt (bear in mind this is 22 year old me speaking. By the time I get married who knows if I’ll still remember this. I’d like to think I would though.)
