Thus begins my attempt to recap things that happened 2 months ago.

Pretty sure this was sometime in MAY.

BANDUNG @ PEPPERONIS!

Benchong & Vik, who are really each others’ musical soulmates. (x-ref Nick&Norah)

Eugene, and thank you Ben for cutting me out of the photo. Speaking of which, EUGENE SEOW U OWE US A TREAT :) I am going to plan another bandung outing like now.

Ending the night with island cremery and joyride. BANDUNG IS <3!

In the thick of exams.. (kinda) so I’m just gona be random and post OLD PHOTOS.

Because old photos either make me laugh, or they make me smile.

Either way, they make me so happy.

BANDUNG. Some of my favourite boys. Poof and WHERE IS EVERYONE!?

CRAZY PEOPLE THAT I LOVE. JL & Tracy – speakin of which I bumped into mister ‘hellonicholas’ today in school. Woah how much time has passed.

GIRLS. LOOK HOW YOUNG YOU GUYS WERE. THIS WAS *GASP* THREE YEARS AGO!!? Okay maybe two?

This was sending Zw off at the airport when he first left for NYU. MADNESS.

The year of late night shotgun rides in the MC :( And now there isn’t even a MC! The ride got upgraded! :( Wow.. a new era of things.

This was CLONE (longhair) WARS period. The night of my 20th birthday where we crashed SMU and I lost my new camera and we tried to include Cheryl in the celebration. Evidently she wasn’t too happy about it.

:( EXAMS WILL BE OVER SOON. And I do not know what to expect after that.

This is a very curious photo, with three people looking very awkward and uncomfortable. In our defence, Beh and I were trying very hard to control our laughter because of the incident that I would aptly term Chinese-lady-does-not-know-how-to-use-digital-cam-in-the-year-2009-and-points-it-the-other-way-round-so-she-nearly-took-a-photo-of-herself-right-in-front-of-us-with-my-camera.

Bandung bosses

03/08/2009

The intense bandung outing where we played I’m the Boss the entire night (how many hours was it!?). And the boys got really into the game.. at a point I realised I’m not good at these mind games and got relegated to being the CHARITY CASE. Adrian was second to give up his game and both of us were happily in the corner gushing about SNSD and GEE. HAHAHAHA.

This is such a great photo of how the boys got so into the game.. all ready for uni, I see! Hahaha.

Later on, Siyou came (!!) and we sat and talked and I exploited the OSIM massage chair – shiok to the max. Successful bandung (minus beh, who went off to Malaysia. TRAITOR!) came to at close in the wee hours of the morning :)

Note to self: never play I’m the boss with Benchong or Vik again! The two most innocent of the lot were actually the most deceptive in making false impressions. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

Nice hair, Mos -YOU KNOW I LOVE IT. It looks like DEB HAHAHAA but its not, its DLC – the initials of his new college in AUSTRALIA. Last night we skyped in the library where it was SILENT and he kept trying to make me laughoutloud but I am awesome so I did not. HAHA I WIN. It was really nice seeing and talking to you again MISTER AMOS FONG. I think we can still do our threemonthinterval catchups, via skype :)

In other news, I’M FLYING TO LA IN EIGHT HOURS.

This is the first time I am traveling All By Myself. Wohoho it took this long aye.

FOOD I WILL MISS.

People I will miss.

Dear Amos,

Thank you for introducing me to botanical sights and sounds that are mosquito-free and lighted with fireflies. I hope we both find accountability soon. If you fail to find one, I can stand-in for the moment. I’m glad we both understand how important it is to not fall, and how important it is to have friends that can tell us when we are stumbling. I would like to go back to see the forest dinosaur again! This time I will make sure my camera is charged. See you when spontaneity kicks in :)

Rocking Out

18/08/2008

BANDUNGERS :)
Yet another successful tuition outing. Benchong you have outdone yourself. Hahaha rocking out to Rock Band and Guitarhero on a Sunday evening (while Singapore won our first silver medal in 48 years) + loads of good old Bukit timah market food to boot. Ben and Vik played themselves silly with Through the Fire and the Flames…

Please take note of how Ben plays the drums with his mouth open. HAHAHA Siyou and I were laughing at the boys the entire time cos they all have weird quirks when they play. And yes, my friends, that is indeed Samuel Beh Pei Wen playing the guitar and the drums. We thought the day would never come. Also, I have exclusive and priceless footage of Eugene singing Dirty Little Secret. Oh JOY.

Tan Siyou! HOW I’VE MISSED YOU SO.

I don’t remember what happened… I just know part of this was Ben being annoying and trying to sit farrrr away from me.

And Ben is still at it, trying to swing the chair into my face..

At long last.
Missing from photo: Adrian, Barry and Mos!

So you might be wondering why it is that I am able to post so often. LIKE FREE, if I may say so myself. Firstly, I have a three and a half day week of school. Secondly, my Apple is awesome. Thirdly, a gazillion things always happen over the weekend and so there are always a gazillion photos that I find on my hand, waiting to be posted. And I give people what they want. Namely, PHOTOS. I don’t really like this turning into a photo blog so I hope to clear photos out of the way so that I have time to post my personal musings. When they come to me. If they come to me.

A trip to Salvation Army with Mos on a Tuesday afternoon. I went to NUS earlier to have my IMAGINEERS training (the ongoing social research job that I had applied for) and after that got a message from Mos asking if I was free. A few hours later we were vroom-vrooming off to Subway for the usual cookies and conversation, and then to Salvation Army for our unexpected shopping trip! Thrift finds include sunglasses, books times four, a top, skirt, and a pair of black jellies. I wanted to get this chocolate brown bag but it was $18 and I was like ARH. Never mind. Hahaha. Next friday Amelia and I are going to explore more thrift finds in Singapore! (and to think I thought there was only ONE Salvation Army store) Hahaha whoops.
